Bryce National Park

So, after we enjoyed ourselves at Zion, we went on to spend a night at Ruby's Inn and visit Bryce. Again, the kids started on their Junior Ranger badges and we went about exploring the park. We weren't going to do any hiking, but then the kids and I went in search of two clues for a virtual letterbox (you can't put them in national parks) and ended up hiking far too long on the Queen's Garden Trail. Ugh, and no, we didn't find the second clue!
Later we went to a ranger presentation at the lodge about astronomy and then to look through the telescopes they set up at the visitor's center. We were able to see some interesting things before the clouds moved in. It was gorgeous!
Again, the park wasn't very crowded. It was nice! The next day, July 24th, the kids went swimming before we left for Grandma La Giusa's house in Cedar Hills, at the mouth of the canyon to Timpanogas Cave.
